To submit breq_fast requests to the IRIS DMC, the user needs to format a file with the request information and then email that request to the IRIS DMC. An example file is shown below:
This file should be left justified to work properly.

The request lines should be formatted as follows:
STARTING TIME ENDING TIME
STA NN YYYY MM DD HH MM SS.TTTT YYYY MM DD HH MM SS.TTTT #_CH CH1 CH2 CHn LI
STA is the station
NN is the network code or "virtual network"
YYYY is the year - 2 digit entries will be rejected!
MM is the month
DD is the day
HH is the hour
MM is the minute
SS.TTTT is the second and ten-thousandths of seconds
#_CH is the number of channel designators in the immediately following list
CHn is a channel designator that can contain wildcards
LI is location identifier (optional)
For .Media choose FTP
The .Label field will be the name of your downloaded files.
When your file has been prepared, send it to

firstname.lastname@example.org - for dataless SEED*
email@example.com - for miniSEED
