Presentations Posted for International OBS Meeting at AGU

Wednesday, December 30, 2015

OBSIP hosted an informal networking opportunity for all ocean bottom seismometer operators and interested parties at the 2015 AGU Fall Meeting. This special interest group meeting was open to all OBS operators and users from around the globe. It was organized to encourage discussion on technology and instrumentation, highlight recent experiments, exchange ideas on instrument pool and data management, and further develop international collaborations. About 50 were in attendance at the MOMA room of the Hotel Zelos, and the greater-than-anticipated interest may result in covening another special interest group meeting at the 2016 AGU Fall Meeting.
