Comparison of OBSIP instrument requests and instrument numbers.
Request data are derived from submitted OBSIP request forms from 2005 to mid-2009 and include requested
instrument numbers and deployment periods. Although the instruments appear oversubscribed by a
factor of two, this is an underestimate as it assumes a 2-month instrument turnaround between experiments.
